Serving the Yorkshire Office Market

Wonderful Wakefield

Wakefield boasts a fabulous array of shops, a number of high quality eateries and a fantastic spread of pubs and bars in its compact yet lively city centre.

Regeneration projects in Wakefield include the retail development to the north east of the city centre, including department stores, a supermarket and shop units. The central square at the Bull Ring has been redesigned with a water feature along with the refurbishment of The Riding Shopping Centre.

Trinity Walk shopping centre opened in 2011, giving Wakefield a much needed new lease of life. The stunning, state-of-the-art luxury shopping centre anchored by Debenhams lies in the middle of the city, and attracts thousands of shoppers everyday. With its fabulous number of exclusive shops and restaurants, combined with its unique and thought provoking design, Trinity Walk gives visitors a memorable shopping experience.

Further afield but in striking distance, the large city of Leeds is just 9 miles away, which boasts an abundance of high quality shops, museums and restaurants.

Developments by the river and canal, the “Wakefield Waterfront”, include the refurbishment of the Grade II listed Navigation Warehouse and office, retail, restaurant and cafe units. The development includes the art gallery, The Hepworth, named in honour of local sculptor, Barbara Hepworth, which opened in May 2011. The gallery displays fantastic exhibitions from artists around the country and further afield and added £10 million to the local economy by attracting 500,000 visitors in its first year.
